Everything's bigger in Texas.

I've been trying to describe how big the new Cowboy Stadium and I still have no word that fits. We were lucky enough to get tickets to the opening of it this past weekend to see Leann Womack, Blake Shelton, Reba McIntyre, and George Strait. The nosebleed section was three floors down from our seats. We were pretty sure our seats where just below Heaven itself. But thanks to a 60 yard long big screen (yes 60 yards), there are no bad seats in the place.
I am weird when it comes to heights. I try not to be scared, but it doesn't work. So I made it to my seat, sat down for about 3 minutes, and decided there was no way I could sit there all night. That place is so big, it felt like I was sitting on the edge of the Grand Canyon. So I made it back down to the main level, which is probably still 2 or 3 stories from the floor level. Luckily that level was made for people to stand up and watch. There where even drink holders behing the last row of seats.
So after 60,188 other fans found their seats...

And eight hours later as we headed to our cars, we got to see the Stadium all lit up.

We all enjoyed it. They have a few kinks to work out, the major one being the sound system. It echo'd really really bad. But all the staff was so nice and believe it or not traffic in and out of there wasn't that bad.
