Goodwill Party

I am a day late to join in the party, but I wanted to share my favorite thrift store find, my fake fireplace. This wall in my living room was always a problem because it had the thermostat and the air return vent smack dab in the center, and happens to also be smack dab in the center of my living room. So when I found this fireplace shell in a thriftstore I knew my problem was solved. The shelf above it lets me camoflauge the thermostat.

BTW on my last post I am asking everyone if they would be interested in joining a Cloche Party. You know, show your cloches, how you use them, where and what you put in them and etc., etc. Just a fun event since everyone seems to be decorating with them. If you would be interested leave me a comment and I'll pick a date and get Mr. Linky going. Thanks, Marty

Steph, thanks so much for joining the Cloche Party. I think it will be such fun to see how everyone decorates and uses theirs. Several ladies are also going to show their apothecary jars, so if you have any and want please include those too. Be sure and spread the word to all your followers so everyone can join us. The more the merrier. Hugs, Marty

Hi. Looks pretty cool. Wondered what’s the latest with your veggie garden? What’s your next garden project?

Very nice! I have a similar fireplace in my bedroom. They are the greatest thing. And you camouflaged it all so well.

How did I miss this Goodwill thing? Darn!!! Love your fireplace find-that is so awesome. I also love how you changed your shelf, super smart of you. Love, love, love your artwork! You have been on a roll lately. You must visit me more often. I love visiting, but forget sometimes while trying to maintain my studies and everything else with the kids home. Keep the good stuff coming!
