Baseball stuff...

My cousin asked if I would do a couple of pieces for her to put in the nursery they are fixing up for their new baby. They are doing a baseball theme. I've never painted anything close to a baseball, so it was a challange to come up ideas. So these are the two I've finished so far......
For this on I just printed out the words in all different fonts, traced them on tracing paper, and then traced them onto the canvas using carbon paper. I chose the colors from a fabric sample she sent me.
This one I did a google image search for a line drawing of a glove to use as a reference.
This is a gift I made for her. I used my cricut for the vinyl lettering. I glued a magnet to the back of a button and a metal stripe to the frame, and thats what holds the picture on. I am anxiously waiting the arrival of baby Thompson! Can't wait to meet him.

All great! Hopefully he won't be like my oldest and declare "I hate baseball!"

Who can hate baseball? It's America's pastime!
